A great pumpkin pie
Mom and dad bought a small turkey and we figured out how to cook it in our tiny oven. We had a great Christmas dinner, we all got turkey and Ruthie got green bean casserole. Thanks Mom and Dad!

10,000 Buddhas (another straight up the mountain hike)
Cheung Chau Island (lots of stairs but beautiful scenery)
Dim Sum (Julie, mom and I are becoming more adept at using chopsticks)
Mom was so brave to try Chicken fingers (but she had to close her eyes for every bite).
Tyler eating Chicken "fingers" (he was upset that it kept on picking his nose for him)
Tea at the Peninsula Hotel
Dragon's back hike (we did a lot of steep hiking during this vacation, we all have legs of steel now)
Avenue of the Stars "Bruce Lee"
Who makes a better Bruce Lee statue? Brad or Tyler?
After the Nutcracker (It was an amazing ballet!)
Sai Kung Hike (it ended up being much longer than we anticipated)
Amazing pizza after a very long hike (the pizza was 2 feet in diameter)
The Peak on New Years eve (Dad was taking the picture, so he isn't in it)
New Years Eve on top of IFC Mall (amazing fireworks!!)
Sight seeing as of today: Seated Buddha (although you guys have already seen pictures of the Buddha so here is a picture of Julie and Tyler).

My vote is that Brad looks more like Bruce Lee, while Tyler unfortunately looks more like Bruce's somewhat masculine-appearing sister...Bernice Lee.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I think that if we were to vote on who appeared to be enjoying your magnificent adventure the most, it would be a 7-way tie for First Place! Rand
Wow, it looks like you are having a wonderful time together! Thank you for postings the great pics. A couple of comments on photos: Brad definitely has the Bruce Lee pose and the expression down pat, but Tyler wins the "hands position" part of the contest. Regarding the chicken fingers experience: Tyler, didn't your mother teach you not to pick your nose in public, especially using fowl feet?!? Regarding the shot of T & J at the Seated Buddha; we had a photo of Tyler at about 3 months old where he was so chubby and could hardly sit up, so we called him "The Buddha." Is history repeating itself? High Tea looks fabulous - reminds me of T & J's wedding and visits to the Empress in Victoria, BC during Tyler's HS band trips. We are delighted the Condie/Christianson/Hale branch of our family is having such a ball together. Love, Marcia Hale
